Can someone guide me on creating my own AI action figure?

I’m trying to build an AI action figure from photo but I’m completely stuck. I’ve got some basic materials but I don’t know the steps or what tech to use for the AI part. Any advice on tools, software, or beginner-friendly tutorials would really help. Thank you!

I actually tried making an AI action figure of myself the other day, and it turned out way better than I expected

Used Eltima AI — you just upload like 8–12 selfies from different angles, it builds a digital version of you (your “AI persona”), then you pick a theme — doctor, explorer, gym guy, even some toy-style presets. Hit generate, and boom — your mini action figure photos show up in a few seconds. Looks super realistic too.

If you want more control, Artbreeder is another fun one. It’s a bit more hands-on — you can tweak your face, add effects, or mix styles manually. Not as fast as Eltima, but great if you like to experiment.

Honestly, didn’t think I’d enjoy turning myself into a collectible toy  but it’s kinda addictive.

So, I got into this new trend of making AI action figures from photos, and it’s way more fun than I expected

I started with Reface AI Lab, which actually has a super intuitive interface. You upload around 8–10 selfies (try to mix front, side, and casual shots — it really helps the AI get your look right). Then you pick a theme — they have a bunch like Superhero, Doctor, Astronaut, Fitness Trainer, or Explorer. After that, just hit Generate, and in about 30 seconds it gives you a full action-figure-style version of yourself.

The detail blew my mind — the AI adds shadows, glossy textures, even makes the outfit match the vibe of the theme. It legit looks like something that could be turned into a collectible figure or 3D print.

Then I tried Artguru AI, which is more of a creative playground. It doesn’t have as realistic rendering as Reface, but it’s faster and gives you a ton of artistic “toy” styles — vintage, cyberpunk, anime-inspired, etc. You can tweak facial expressions, colors, and even backgrounds.

If you’re just doing it for fun or want something cool for social media, Artguru is perfect. But if you want that “realistic plastic action figure” look — Reface AI Lab definitely nails it.

Honestly, I didn’t think I’d care about seeing myself as a mini collectible, but now I’ve got a whole folder of “me as a superhero, me as a doctor, me as an astronaut” :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
It’s also a fun way to make profile pics that actually stand out.
